VIDEO TRIBUTE PLEASE WATCH HERE!

KASARINLAN

PLEASE READ! PLEASE READ! PLEASE READ! PLEASE READ! PLEASE READ! PLEASE READ! PLEASE READ! AFTER YOU WATCH THE VIDEO.(( Used English so that everyone around the world, who are watching, would be able to understand, hopefully, ;w; I mean, Filipinos aren’t the only ones liking this page and following it, there are also others. ;w; ))(( FIRST OF ALL! HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY EVERYDOODS! Okay, so, just wanted to say, everyone please enjoy and let’s give thanks to everyone who has made the independence possible in the country. ))(( This is our Tribute to all the times the Republic of the Philippines and its people has gone through.. ))(( Now, we feature mostly the wars that the Filipinos went through with their conquerors. ))(( I know some of you might wonder, “Where’s Rizal’s contribution then? Or the other propagandist writers, etc?” Okay, like I said, mostly the wars, like the physical ones, and let’s also remember, even before Rizal was born, the Filipinos had been fighting for their independence and for justice. Francisco Dagohoy, Lapu-Lapu (though his was more territory-wise, but still, it showed that in the Filipino blood, they don’t like to be made slaves, I MEAN WHO WOULD, right? ^^; , and a whole lot of others, History books are precious… ;w; ))(( Next, the declaration of independence scene, now, we see the LuzVisMinda siblings, ALTHOUGH most of the Luzon regions were the ones who made the revolutions and stuff, and the Visayans were a bit more loyal to the Spanish crown, and Mindanao people had fought off the Spanish for all those years, keeping them off; THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE WHO FOUGHT AND happily CELEBRATED THAT THEY FINALLY GOT THEIR INDEPENDENCE ! :’D Like, Leon Kilat of the Visayas anyone? Also the Visayan Joan of Arc, Teresa Magbanua , and a whole lot of other Visayans, AND for the people of Mindanao, NOT all of Mindanao was conquered by Spain, BUT SOME cities/provinces were, particularly those found on the northern parts of Mindanao, ever wondered why Zamboanga has the Spanish Villages? And also some places of Northern Mindanao speak Chavacano (Spanish-based creole language) Spanish influences still there. :D ))(( Now, we included the American and Japanese occupations because, we’d like to let everyone remember and see how long, how loonng the Filipinos had to fight off to really get this freedom of now. ;-; WE know the Philippines has Republic Day (July 4 official recognition of the Philippines as an independent country and also an independence day) but we’re talking about independence here, and I just don’t think it’s just the Spanish the Filipinos have been fighting off for all those years. BTW, the Spanish, Americans, and Japanese are the major former colonizers of the Philippines, so we focused on them more. ))(( So, this tribute, think of it as like July 4 and June 12 combined, like we said, we focused on the themes of independence. ;w; ! ))(( MABUHAY KAYONG LAHAT ! ;W; MABUHAY ANG PILIPINAS AT ANG MGA PILIPINO! MALIGAYANG ARAW NG KALAYAAN!! ))(( BTW: If you get confused on the scenes: Scenes were inspired by:> Battle of Mactan> Battles of Sultan Kudarat (and most of the Southern Mindanao Muslim Rulers) against the Spanish> Cry of Pugadlawin> KKK Revolutions> Battle of Tirad Pass (But Maria is like overlooking the Americans and, like “How in the world were the Americans able to pass through?!” thing. :’D So Gregorio’s troops had already been taken down. ;A; )> The Healing Assistance & Aid of Melchora Aquino (Tandang Sora)> Leon Kilat -as you can see with an Angry Visayas there with Maria tending the injured, kinda mixed that up together, it’s also because women in the Philippine revolutions played major roles, okay?> Declaration of Independence Day > The Rape / Battle of Manila (1945)The rest, tell the story. ;^; ))(( Thank you so much for watching and for celebrating Independence Day everyone! We hope you have understood it! ;;w;; ))(( Thank you and God bless you all! :’D ))

The Principal Regions of the Philippines and the Three Former Colonizers they Were All Formerly Under
(( I guess you could identify the Former Colonizers by looking at the Uniforms LuzVisMinda are wearing.. :’D ))
1. Spanish Occupation (1521-1898)2. American Occupation (1898-1946)3. Japanese Occupation (1942-1945)

(( The British Occupation only occured in Manila, so Luzon, but it’d be awkward to have Luzon mix two costumes up… orz So we’ll stick with the 3 major ones that occupied the Philippines))
(( Same goes with the short Chinese Occupation as well. ))
(( The Germans may have had intentions to colonize the Philippines that time, but they backed out after being found out by the Americans who were occupying that time, like, “KAMI PA YUNG NAGSASAKOP, WAG KAYONG SISINGIT..lol.” ))
(( BTW, they’re not wearing those to represent that these are the exclusive colonizers who took control of them. No. Just wearing them each to represent ALL the colonizers with whom they have gone through. ))
